This episode is about PR and Santeria and Science and Magic, The Age of Aquarius, and Death. About believing and not believing. But mostly it’s about Hope.
A quick scan of self-described, New Age author, Migene Gonzalez Wippler’s book titles – Return of the Angels, Dreams and What They Mean To You and you might think she’s the “new age”iest new age witch we’ve featured on the Missing Witches podcast. But before you cry WooWoo, if it helps, know that she has a phd, degrees in psychology and anthropology, has lectured at the American Museum of Natural History, Columbia University, NYU, Princeton … was a Science Editor for the American Institute of Physics, worked for the United Nations, has written dozens of books… and if it helps know that she said this: I don’t believe in the supernatural. I believe in nature and all things natural. Everything that happens in this world always happens through natural channels and in accordance with immutable cosmic laws. All things – both real and surreal – are part of the cosmos, where everything has a place and a reason for being.
