KinshipAncestorsIndigenous Magic

Our Reparations Project is about aiming community-supported repair toward the wound of colonial violence. We turn our grief and rage towards hopeful action because we're witches: we believe in our power to change the world.

Each May, we come together with likeminded magical people to make a loving, joyful wave of reparations. To fund a revolution.

On our end, here at Missing Witches we donate 100% of our community membership earnings for the month of May to the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal.

We also run a community fundraiser throughout the month of May supporting Indigenous-led support orgs. Making reparations gets you entered in a draw to win prizes from a veritable flotilla of artists, writers, teachers, diviners and luminaries from the incredible community of folks we've gotten to meet through the years producing the Missing Witches Podcast.

This year we have a lovely bundle of discount codes for every single person who participates, and over $6000 worth of incredible, UTTERLY MAGICAL prizes to be won!

>> Jump to the 2026 Prizes! <<

Impact

Our first year, we raised $200.
In 2025, we raised over $13,000.

Together, in total, we’ve raised nearly $50,000 for Indigenous support organizations.

With your help, we’re ready to grow that impact even further.

How it Works

  • Make a donation of $10 (or more) to your local Native Women’s Shelter or any Indigenous-Run Org, or the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal.
  • Take a screenshot of your receipt and email witchreparations@gmail.com with the subject line: REPARATION
  • and you'll be entered to win one of more than twenty-five amazing prizes! Every 10$ = 1 entry in the draw, $50 is five entries and so on.
  • Everyone who donates automatically receives discount codes from some of our favourite witchy business!

Neuroscience of Tarot: Book, Tarot Deck, and Personal Reading

Description
We all look around us and see patterns. From this we make intuitive leaps of faith that then lead to groundbreaking insight. How does this happen? In the book The Neuroscience of Tarot, scientist Siddharth Ramakrishnan looks at how our brains move from imagery to intuition to transformational insight. In the accompanying NeuroTarot deck, he has used imagery from the major arcana of the tarot cards to create neuroscience inspired cards. Hand drawn and designed by a scientist, these cards offer insight into our own brains, while still working as a Tarot deck.

In addition to the Book and Tarot Deck, you will also get your own personal 30 minute Neuro Tarot reading from Dr. Ramakrishnan - this will have a regular tarot reading, with an overlay of the Neuro tarot cards.

Value
$200

A Fellow of the UCLA Art|Sci center, his collaborations with artists have led to exhibitions and documentaries that blend the worlds of art and science highlighting topics like Hox genes, animal umwelts and biomimicry. An avid Tarot reader, he has designed and created the NeuroTarot deck based on the major arcana of Tarot and infused with neuroscience. He was the keynote speaker at NWTS 2023 and a panelist at the Masters of Tarot workshop (2023) with Mary K. Greer at Omega, Rhinebeck NY. Description
From Nova Mercury Design/Jen Duffin:
This beautiful and unique wall hanging is designed and handmade by me in my Montréal home studio. It is soft, textured, and cheerful, and will add colour and interest to any room.

This piece is made from a variety of high quality natural fibres including wool, wool roving, and cotton. There are hand beaded details, and it hangs on a wood dowel. This weaving is super textural and vibrant - a bold and whimsical piece!

The woven area measures approximately 11 inches in width by 25 inches in length, and the total length is about 26 inches including the dowel.

Bio
I’m Jen Duffin ... and Nova Mercury Design is my art practice. My foray into creating began with some simple macrame plant hangers for my home, but my love of all things fibre soon became a full-blown obsession! I began weaving on a frame loom in 2016 and the rest is history. Inspired by colour and whimsy, I love to create art that brings joy and vibrance to my clients’ decor. In addition to making original art, I love to encourage creativity by facilitating fiber art workshops and retreats. I aim to create beautiful, heirloom artworks and to inspire a love of creating in others. I believe in handmade, quality, and small business.
